After many years of collaboration between our graphic design agency SIGN and the town of Anglet (north of Biarritz), our team has won the invitation to tender to provide the Scène Nationale du Sud-Aquitaine with a brand new identity. And it managed to fight off a few major competitors on the way.
Scène Nationale is a network of 74 locations that all share the same vision - bringing live performances to the streets and creating different types of connections between the general public and these shows. They are subsidised by the French state and create performances to help emerging artists and promote street activities with children. One of the members of this network is the Scène Nationale du Sud-Aquitain, which is active in 4 cities: Bayonne, Anglet, Boucau and Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
A meaningful vision with a powerful engine
SIGN specialises in the development of brand images, cultural communications, luxury publications, periodicals and institutional communications. Their vision is based on 3 fundamental beliefs - integrated reflection, agility and the ability to be unique.
SIGN stood out from its competitors with a very well put together file, based on shrewdly developed brand foundations and a series of workshops skilfully led by Steffen Fredholm, the agency’s director. This skilful approach was taken directly from our VO Lab tool, developed to promote collective intelligence, generate value and come up with outstanding ideas.
A reference project
The team-based, collective project, led by Steffen Fredholm, Olivier Rensonnet and Frédéric Chevalier, represents a fusion and confrontation between strategy and creation. It is without a doubt thanks to this double competency, and an analytical discernment and shrewdness that goes beyond simple creativity, that SIGN did better than any of the other competing agencies. A period of strategic reflection was followed by a creative added-value narrative, which in turn gave rise to the concepts and forms expressed in printed and digital communication.
The Scène Nationale du Sud-Aquitain has recognised SIGN as an agency that can provide flexible solutions on a strategic and organisational level. This has given rise to a solid new identity as well as creative and strategically relevant communication.
It also recognised the agency’s ability to work in real time, be responsive and in tune with the client, submit their own proposals and overall go that extra mile for the client.
The VO Group is proud to offer a high-quality graphic design offer through its agency SIGN. The work done for the Scène Nationale du Sud-Aquitain is a great example of this and is very likely to be repeated in the future!
