On March 1st 2022, Media Marketing has announced the winners of the Agency of the Year Awards, an annual competition that recognises the communications industry for its creativity, performance, skills, innovation and, for the first time in 2022, its sustainable approach.
The jury of 16 communications professionals, drawn from the world of advertisers, the ACC, and the organisers Pitchpoint and Media Marketing, received over 32 entries this year. VO was among the candidates, with the firm intention of sharing its values, its efforts and the results of its sustainable approach, which began in 2016.
Result - VO wins the award for Positive Impact Agency of the Year!
This is great recognition from the sector for its transition strategy and action plan, the aim of which is to make constant progress, step by step, towards a sustainable vision for communication.
To do this, VO has developed a number of innovative tools (a calculator to measure the impact of communication campaigns, a calculator to measure the impact of events on biodiversity, etc.), which now enable it to measure the impact of its projects on various levels: the project's contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), biodiversity, circularity and the carbon footprint. But these tools would be useless without the active contribution of all agency staff within VO. The approach is intended to be inclusive of all stakeholders, both internal and external. Moving in the same direction by taking everyone with us is truly VO's ambition.
“We are proud of this award because we see it as recognition of our positive impact on our customers, our employees and the communication sector. It rewards certain investments and innovative initiatives that we have been carrying out for years, thanks to our partners, whom we would like to commend: Beeodiversity, Beface , Co2 Logic, Alpaca, Art2work and Microsol. We are of course very pleased, but we are also aware that there is still a lot to be done to increase the positive impact of the communication sector, and we intend to continue to play an important part in this ongoing transition,” concludes Alexandre Velleuer, CEO of the VO Group.
